Mindmixer Raises $4M Led by Nelnet & the Optimas Group

Omaha based MindMixer announced the close of its Series B funding at $4 million.  While we participated in the round, Nelnet and the Optimas Group led the financing.

Mindmixer is on track to reach 1,000 customers by year end and while they have focused largely on the civic and education markets, they are beginning to experiment with other markets such as healthcare.

Part of the funding will go towards hiring people here in the Omaha office as well as expanding the talent pool in Kansas City.  Nick Bowden and Nathan Preheim continue to provide an affordable product that is surpassing expectations for their customers.  They are the perfect example of why we continue to bet on good teams.
